Personalized Massage

Don’t settle for an ordinary massage. Treat yourself to an extraordinary massage — customized to your specific needs. Before the start of your care, you’ll go through a brief but comprehensive Discovery Session (the first step in the Modoma Integrated Framework) to pinpoint your areas of concern. The Discovery Session is overseen by a licensed medical professional. The information gathered during discovery is then communicated to your licensed massage therapist, allowing them to administer precision care.

Licensed Massage Therapists

Your care is important to us.

Getting a massage is a personal experience, so we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. Not only do we perform background checks on all of our therapists, but we only hire massage therapists licensed with the state of Texas.

With a wide variety of skill sets, each therapist has their own unique ability to treat your pain and discomfort. Experience the healing touch of Modoma.

Memberships Available

One massage will feel awesome — guaranteed. But if you’re serious about optimizing your health, it’s going to take a series of massages for you to reach peak performance. The type of massage technique performed depends on the type of discomfort or pain you’re experiencing. Here are the different massage techniques our talented therapists are trained to administer:

Myofascial Release MassageMyofascial Release

Myofascial release is a manipulative treatment that attempts to release tension in the fascia due to trauma, bad posture or inflammation.

Rolfing seeks to realign and straighten your body by working the myofascia, the connective tissue that surrounds your muscles and helps hold your body together.

Cross-Fiber MassageCross-Fiber Massage

Experience the Benefits of a Modoma Massage

Relieve Stress & Anxiety

Calm your mind and relax your body with a therapeutic massage to help lower your cortisol and vasopressin levels. Decrease your heart rate, lower your blood pressure and dramatically decrease your chances of aggressive behavior. You’ll also experience the release of knots and tight muscles in the neck and shoulder area.

Enhance Immune System

Decrease your risk of colds and flus. Massage therapy increases the activity level of lymphocytes, which are white blood cells that play a large role in defending the body from disease and viruses.

Reduce Inflammation

Inflammation is the cause of a wide variety of health issues such as asthma, cardiovascular disease and depression. Massage helps lower your body’s level of cytokines, which are molecules that play a role in inflammation.

Improve Digestion

Improve digestive performance with gentle abdominal massage. Besides stimulating blood flow, massaging the affected area helps encourage the spontaneous movement of the digestive tract (a process called peristalsis), which helps alleviate cramping, bloating, gas and constipation.

Reduce Fibromyalgia Symptoms

Due to enhanced sleep, stress relief, improved circulation and the release of endorphins, massage helps reduce pain and stiffness in the muscles and joints often associated with fibromyalgia. Massage also improves flexibility and overall sens of well-being.

Relieve Headaches

Massage therapy relieves headaches by easing muscle tension, relieving muscle spasms and releasing shortened muscles, which relieves pressure on the nerves and blood vessels in the affected area. This relief increases the flow of oxygen- and nutrient-rich blood to the affected area, which promotes healing.

Improve Circulation

Massage improves circulation due to the stimulation of nerve receptors, causing blood vessels to dilate, which facilitates blood flow. This stimulation improves both lymphatic and blood circulation, which helps maintain muscle mass, increase energy and aids in the removal of waste products and toxins.

Relieve TMJ Pain

Temporomandibular joint massage is the preferred method to relieve TMJ dysfunction and pain. Focusing on trigger points, this type of massage reduces tension in the masticatory muscles and the fascia around the jaw. TMJ massage can relieve tenderness in the face, clicking and popping sounds when speaking or chewing, and locking of the jaw.

Improve Posture

One of the main benefits of massage is improved posture. Massage loosens and relaxes muscles, relieves pressure points and frees up stiff joints. The relaxing and relieving nature of massage allows the body to realign and facilitates healthy, natural movements.
